Hello Friends, I recently moved house, so doing cleaning all around in the new house. In this video I am showing you how oily and greasy top of the kitchen cupboard and cooker hood is and how i clean all oil and grease in very easy way and without much hard work. Step 1 : You will need:
Gloves
Kitchen towel
Bowl
Stainless steel scourer
Washing up liquid
Sponge
Old brush
Microfiber cloths
Old news paper
Sello tape
Step 2 : Preparation of cleaning liquid:
1. Take 50 ml of washing up liquid in plastic bowl. Add 25 ml water in it. Mix well. Make a thick liquid and keep a side. * This measurement is according to my need. So please make this liquid according to your need. Add less or more liquid and water.*
Step 3 : Clear all sticky paper / any rubbish from top of the cupboard
1.Because of the oil, paper stick on the cupboard so I tried my best to remove by hand but some of the very sticky so I used butter knife to remove it. But i didn't show in the video.
Step 4: Apply Liquid
1. Apply washing up liquid all top of the cupboards and cooker hood with old tooth brush.
2. Apply liquid evenly on top and side of the cupboards and each side of the cooker hood.
3. Leave it for 20 - 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes
Check little area with brush. if grease clean easily with brush then start cleaning, otherwise leave it for 5 - 10 minutes more.
Step 5 : Cleaning
1. Start cleaning with stainless steel scourer. It's very easy to clean oil and grease with dish soap.
2. Oil and grease come off very easily with scourer without any hard work.
3. After clean with scourer, take the sponge and wipe out all dirt with it.
4. After clean with sponge , take kitchen towel and clean with it.
5. Finally take clean wet microfiber cloth and clean it.
6. In same way clean cooker hood, sides of the cupboards and left side top of the cupboard as well.
7. Make sure follow these steps every and each time
1 .Scrub it
2. Wipe it.
3. Clean with kitchen towel and clean wet cloth.
8. Clean top of the cupboard door as well.
Step 6 : Cover top of the cupboard
1. Take old news paper. Cut according to size of the cupboard.Cover all side of the cupboard properly.
2. Fold corner of the paper from left side. (cooker hood side)
3. Stick paper with sellotape. Make sure cover the gape of the cooker hood side cupboard to prevent from oil and grease.
4. Stick newspaper with sellotape from both side.
5. In same way I covered left side top of the cupboard as well, with 2 pages of newspaper. Keep one page to top of the another page and stick with sellotape.
6. On this cupboard I stuck newspaper on 4 side ( Right, Left , Middle and front).
Tips:
1. You can use any cleaner to clean cooker hood and cupboard but dish wash liquid specially made to clean oil and grease from our kitchen utensils so it's make our life easy.
2. You can use any dish wash liquid, I used platinum.
3. Change newspaper at least once in a month so prevent the top of the cupboard from oil.
