Low Profile Floating Shelves // Home Office Upgrade

In this episode we tackle some inside-shop organization...the home office. About a year ago we built a couple of custom desks for my home office and they are still working fantastic. This project is really just to elevate them to the next level by adding some custom built, low profile, floating shelves. My goal is to clean up my desk, get some cool stuff displayed to keep my creative juices flowing, and increase my overall efficiency.

Just about anyone can make these floating shelves for themselves so this project is extremely accessible. It's amazing what a small change can do to a space like adding these shelves and cleaning up my desk.

In addition to making the shelves we make a simple monitor stand, add some speakers, a keyboard mat, and even some small fake plants! Every desk video needs at least one small fake plant, right?
