This hack was very fun to think and figure out how I preferred to achieve the ties.

A few reminders:
* The lateral seam is an inch further from the bust dart point towards the center of the body
* I dropped the neckline by 1" at the front
* The length of the ties from the slit reference point is 29cm (11.5")
