Not really a channel updates kind a guy, but wanted to post this to clear some stuff up. I used an Accelero Xtreme IV kit (REV.1 what was available to me) which I had to modify quite a bit to use with my card, and since this isn't a product placement clip you won't find a link to buy it. If you want it check the compatibility list, it 's just too much of a hassle to adapt it if it isn't.
I am not officially endorsing it but it seems to be great, even with my modifications to it, it seems very efficient. Temps dropped about 10 C compared to the stock fans. Less noise, lower fan speeds.
For now it seems I did a good job changing the components and placing those thermal pads, time will tell ...
