How much money is enough?
How many days do you want to be working and how many do you want to be living?
The idea is to become financially self-reliant so you don’t need to work again. Previous generations called this retirement. Today the idea is to have enough assets or multiply streams of income. That your investments pay you an income. This means you only work for joy because you enjoy doing your work, you can volunteer with a charity you believe in or perhaps helps you become you are or who you want to be.
In this video I use a farm yard analogy to help explain this in a simple, fun and achievable way
Have you got enough? Then you need to know your number. Your number is the amount of money you need for the rest of your life without having to work again. What kind of lifestyle do you want? A big lifestyle you’ll need a big number and a small lifestyle you need a small number.
