Inside This Mountain Is A Secret Bunker That Might Save The Human Race

When you think of the end of the world, you most likely think of nuclear disaster. Since the development of nuclear weapons, the world has had to be on an almost constant alert. The realization that entire countries could be wiped off the map in the blink of an eye forced many developed countries to start creating giant, elaborate, technology filled bunkers that could survive attacks on a nuclear scale. Sitting in Colorado Springs, the United States has one of the most secure military facilities in the world. It was designed to withstand a direct nuclear attack, and is still an integral part of the United States defense strategy. For the first time, the U.S. military has opened the doors to this place and is giving the public a look at what goes on inside this impenetrable fortress.
