Me attempting to save a snapping turtle

So the kids, Ryan and me all go out of our way to move turtles off the road when we see them. Please please watch the roads and slow down or help them if you see them trying to cross the road. Never ever take them home and always bring them over to the side in which they are facing. ALWAYS wash your hands as soon as possible after handing them too. They can carry lots of yucky disease’s. This time of year they are out on the roads a LOT. Today I encountered a snapping turtle on my street on my way home. The turtle in the video was NOT hurt or harmed btw. I couldn’t pick him up like most of the box turtle I’ve rescued before because his claws would scratch me and he way Way to fast. Boy was he strong! He was bending my flip flops and biting them. I didn’t see a stick big enough to move his whole body with. Anyway he or she is ok now and safely off the dangerous roads. Please just watch out for them poor baby’s on the road.
