Dramatic video shows the moment two couples got in a fight on a California freeway.

The clip was recorded by a woman named Patty Martinez, who was sitting in the backseat of her parents' car when a man and woman in an SUV cut them off in traffic.

Both cars pull over to the side of the freeway in San Fernando as the mother reports the incident to police.

The other couple approaches the vehicle yelling unintelligibly before the mom and dad get out to face them and things turn physical.

The couple in the car allegedly responsible for instigating the road rage incident can be heard calling the family 'beaners' - invoking a racial slur for Hispanic people.

The two men and two women face off in the road while the daughter desperately asks a 911 dispatcher to send help.

Ultimately the man and woman in the first car both end up without their shirts.

The daughter shared the two-minute video online after the fact, captioning it: 'Here's a video of my parents f***ing up an ugly a** racist couple who were trying to cut my parents off, and referred to my parents as "Beaners" on the off-ramp of the 118 today.'

The couples in the video have not been publicly identified, and it is unclear if any police action was taken.
