GENERAL SUMMARY.Here is a satellite view of clouds of a mixed bag showing the low stratus in the coastal areas and some thundershowers visible inland.Both will decrease early this week.It will be warmer through Thursday with more sunshine and then cool off slightly by the weekend. There is no 90 degree weather in sight but one must admit that on days with 90 or higher the nights are pleasantly warm and we have not had a warm summer evening here since early November when it reached the high 80s.but that is too hot for November. I define a warm evening as 70 or higher around darkness and we usually get one or two days of 90 or higher by now. TUJUNGA, CA.WEATHER SUMMARY JUNE 2, 2019. The high temperature was only 67 compared to the average of 81 degrees and the low was 54. Humidity ranged from 67 to 94 per cent. The UV Index was only 2 which is low. It was cloudy all day with solid stratus except for some sunshine before sunset. FORECAST DISCUSSION. An upper level low near the CA. NV. border will move Southeast with decreasing mountain thunderstorms and a warming trend. The marine layer will lower from about 4000 feet early this evening to about 2800 feet early Monday to about 2000 feet by Tuesday. This will bring about a warming trend. Slight ridging will cause a warming trend through Thursday with a slight cooling trend Friday through Sunday with some warming on Monday. Even though it will be clear here after tomorrow night and morning low clouds will persist in the coastal areas indefinitely TUJUNGA, CA 7 DAY FORECAST FROM JUNE 3- 9, 2019. Monday will have low clouds till mid morning then sunny with a low of 53 and a high of 72. Tuesday through Mon. should be clear with a low in the 50s through the period with a high of 78 Tuesday, 81 Wed., 82 on Thur., 79 Fri,, 78 Sat. and Sun. and 82 on Monday. EXTENDED OUTLOOK BOTH 6 TO 10 DAY ( JUN 8-12) AND 8 TO 14 DAY( JUN 10-16 ) OUTLOOK both expect warmer than average temperatures and near average precipitation.
