DISCOVER SWEET & SOUR PORK OVER RICE YOU CAN MAKE AT HOME WITH THESE EASY STEPS! Discover how easy and simple it is to make Sweet and Sour Pork Over Rice at home.
Simple ingredients and and easy steps make this a week night winner!

Steps and ingredients are in the video so you can always play it back if you missed something.

Ingredients:
Boneless pork ribs (or cut of your choice)
Garlic, ginger, onion powders to taste
Buttermilk and All purpose flour
2 cups long grain white or jasmine rice

Directions:
Cook rice according to package directions and set aside
Dip each piece of pork in the buttermilk and let soak a minute or two
Coat with flour and fry until golden brown about 2 minutes each side
Set aside and drain

Sweet and Sour Sauce Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup white wine or plain vinegar
2-4 tablespoon soy sauce to taste
1/4 cup each; Celery, Carrots, Green peppers, Onion cut into cubes or strips
2 tbls cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Combine the first 5 ingredients and simmer until smooth and starts to thicken
Add all veggies and continue to simmer until the vegetables are fork tinder about 3 minutes
Make a slurry (refer back to video) and added it to the sauce
Continue simmer until thick to desired consistency

Plate by putting down rice first then top with pork and add sauce and vegetables
