Richard Schmelz and his wife paid a visit to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office today and brought with them a handmade personalized clock, smiles, and support for our deputies. In fact, they've made the same visit to Sheriff's Offices across the state - all to say "we care" and to honor the memory of two Gilchrist County deputies killed in the line of duty in April 2018. Thank you Richard and Margaret for making our day. We are displaying it with pride!
