Interview: Sebastiaan van der Lans of WordProof Brian Lamberti and Clay Albright of EOS USA interviewed Sebastiaan van der Lans this past July 4th, 2019. Sebastiaan has recently recieved funding for his development from the Telos Blockchain via a worker proposal. Sebastian and his team developed WordProof Timestamping and are currenty working on Web Hosting.
Sebastiaan owns the largest WordPress agency in the Netherlands. His product, WordProof, allows anyone with a WordPress account to seamlessly record transactions to the Telos or EOS blockchains. Eventually, his team intends to provide web hosting via the LiquidApps DAPP Network. This would enable WordProof to reach ALL EOSIO chains and many non-EOSIO chains as well.
WordPress is the largest provider of web services in the world. Over 10 millions websites exist on this platform. WordProof has access to those customers. Those customers will now have access to the blockchain. The first chains to allow such timestamping are TELOS and EOS. This is HUGE for EOSIO and especially TELOS and EOS.
Consider the fact that these websites already exist, they just need to be timestamped (WordProof) and stored offline (IPFS or vRAM). Then, you have the ability onboard new users by the masses and they won't even know they are on blockchain.
