Individuals can be declared terrorists, Rajya Sabha passes UAPA bill | Prabhat Shunglu | Ep127

मोदी सरकार का विवादित UAPA संशोधन बिल यानि Unlawful Activities Prevention Amendment Bill आज राज्य सभा में भी पास हो गया। पक्ष मे 147 तो विरोध में मात्र 42 वोट पड़े। प्रेसिडेंट के साइन के बाद ये बिल कानून बन जायेगा। अब व्यक्ति को भी आतंकवादी घोषित किया जा सकता है। कोर्ट के दोषी पाये जाने से पहले ही सरकार उसे आतंकवाादी घोषित कर सकती है। मगर गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा कि संशोधित कानून का गलत इस्तेमाल नहीं होगा।
Modi government today got the UAPA amendment bill passed in the Rajya Sabha today. the amended bill shall give government the right to declare an offender a terrorist even before he has been found guilty by the court. But Home Minister replying to the debate in Parliament today assured the house the government shall not allow its misuse.
