Infrared Remote Control Camera Panner, Part 1

This video describes and demonstrates a motorized panning device for a GoPro Hero or similar camera. The panner is battery powered, and controlled via an infrared remote control like those used to control televisions. The system uses the Sony SIRC signalling protocol.
