Marcus Overlook - Guadalupe Mountains National Park

During the second day of our trip to Guadalupe Mountains, my two sons (3 & 7), my wife, and I hiked to the Marcus Overlook. This is a hike along the Bush Mountain Trail from Dog Canyon on the north side of Guadalupe Mountains National Park. The round trip hike is 4.6 miles. Probably more like 4.8 from the campground.
The boys did really good as this was there first big hike climbing actual elevation. I carried Ethan on my shoulders a little ways but he did most of the hike himself. We had pretty good weather. Temps were fairly cool and we had breaks from the sun because of the partially cloudy skies.
