At the top of the table we’ve got Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. After finishing the 2018/19 Premier League season as Champions with 98 points - signing Rodri from Atletico Madrid and Cancelo from Juventus is definitely a sign that Man City will be keeping their place at the top of the table. After finishing a staggering 97 points and still not managing to win the Premier League title Jurgen Klopps’s LIverpool have failed to strength to be convincing enough on paper to beat The Sky Blues to the Premier League title. If Jurgen Klopp can keep Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino firing we could see them jumping at the top with any slip from the blue side of Manchester.
How could Jurgen Klopp set Liverpool up ➡️
As for the top four we’ve got Pochettino’s Tottenham at third place, having strengthened in midfield with Tanguy Ndombele and managing to keep their attacking options in Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min - could they push Liverpool for second place?
At fourth place we have Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United, an impressive preseason with a 100% win rate, having a new system in place and strengthening their back line with two brilliant signings Harry Maguire & Aaron Wan-Bissaka - Man United should be bringing back Champions League football to Old Trafford and if the signing of Paulo Dybala comes off we could see The Red Devils push further up the table.
Solskjaer’s 4-2-3-1 system explained ➡️
Arsenal signing Nicolas Pepe & could be great in the long term, but not being able to address their defensive problems - still leaves The North London side top heavy and for that reason we have them in fifth place. As for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at sixth place - with the inability of improving their side through the transfer market after receiving a ban, Lamaprd will have to work with a fresh group of players who whilst looking good for the future - they may be too inexperienced to climb into the top four.
