Its quite the opposite actually. Those partners are effectively working as free promoters of the game. You can't become a partner unless you have an audience and feature the content. Through lead generation alone i would be surprised if each of those partners haven't lead to hundreds if not thousands of extra copies sold. So, while i would love custom games myself, I understand why they are limited to partners as a sort of "reward". That along with a bunch of other technical reasons is why i'm not too bothered by it currently. I would, however, like to see custom games avaliable for everyone in the near future - hopefully within the next year.
