“Potentially Hazardous” Asteroid Traveling Near Earth on August 28, 2019! A “potentially hazardous” asteroid that’s slightly larger than the Great Pyramid of Giza is set to hurtle past Earth this month at a whopping speed of 18 kilometers per second. The enormous asteroid, dubbed 2019 OU1, measures to 160 meters (524 feet) in diameter, the equivalent to the Washington Monument, or 20 meters bigger than Egypt’s most famous pyramid.

8-12-19 Planetary/Seismic Update: 14-18 August Critical
Absence of critical planetary geometry caused a seismic lull in the last seven days with no magnitude 6+ earthquake since August 4. This is likely going to change in the coming days. Starting on the 12th, 13th a seismic increase may occur due to upcoming critical planetary geometry. A seismic peak is most likely to occur from the 14th to the 18th with potentially one or two high 6 to 7+ magnitude earthquakes.
