Medical Council of India has approved nearly 70 countries for Indian students to study mbbs abroad.
There are close to 500 foreign medical colleges listed by Medical council of India for Indian students to study mbbs abroad.
This makes it really tough for parents and students to choose good abroad medical college to study mbbs in foreign country.
Most of the parents consider tuition fees and total budget as the first thing while choosing the foreign medical college, This is wrong. you should check the quality of the college before comparing the cost.

Do you know that National Medical Commission of India does not allow Indian medical graduates to directly practice in Indian hospitals. Irrespective of whether they have studied in government college or Indian private college or foreign medical college, it is mandatory for Indian students to pass National Exit Exam called NEXT before they begin clinical practice in India.
Whatever country you choose, you need to make sure that medical course syllabus is similar to Indian MBBS syllabus. Abroad countries who follow american education awards Doctor of Medicine degree and countries who follow UK education system awards MBBS degree. Even though MCI recognizes both degrees as equivalent, you need to make sure that all subjects are covered in the course curriculum and it is taught in English medium.
The age of the medical college says a lot about the quality of the college. Older the better. Faculties would be well experienced and college would have good infrastructure and facilities if it older. Make sure that the college you are choosing is atleast 50 years old.
Affiliated hospital of the medical college determines your level of success in clinical practice. Make sure that your college is located in the capital city of the country or atleast located in the state capital, so that the average out-patients per day is high. If the number of inpatient beds is low(say less than 250), do not choose as you are not going to get any experience doing clinical rotation there.
