On the afternoon of August 1, 2019, we saw both the departure of the tug Zeus (with the barge Robert F. Deegan) and the arrival of the 1000-footer American Century. The Zeus had brought in a load of calcium chloride for the Hallett dock in Duluth the day before. The American Century was arriving to pick up a load of coal at Midwest Energy in Superior.
Admittedly, I was setting up to record the arrival of the American Century, unaware that the Zeus was making her departure (until it was too late to relocate the camera). Therefore I wasn't in a great spot to record the Zeus' exit. But hopefully it's still worth taking a look!
