ZS5TU (Durban, South Africa) on a KENWOOD TS-180S and a TS-940S

A TS-180 keeping up with the TS-940 on 17m with the Lazy H antenna (N-S oriented)
The 940 maybe has a more refined audio, many more controls and an imposing look, but is it really better than an old 180?
It surely produces much more heat :)
The 180 is really a down-to-earth radio, pure operating joy, simplicity and very good transmission and reception.
