Age - 14 Months By this time, the little one had started to lose interest in the first ever books she had had - fruits, veggies etc. So I got her a set of pretend play with veggie cutouts. This set also came with a dummy veggie stall and a refrigerator to help the kids learn sorting and storing the veggies separately. While that was way too much to expect from her, the cutouts did help reinforce what she had learnt earlier. It also helped understand the relative sizes and shapes of all the veggies.
One activity that I plan to do with her over the next few days is to get her acquainted with the names of these items in all the three languages that she has been exposed to so far - majorly Marathi, English to a lesser extent and then a bit of Hindi here and there!
