Ben Stokes was the hero of the match, who scored an unbeaten 135 runs to win the team. He had 11 fours and eight sixes in his innings. England chased down 359 to win in the fourth innings. एशेज सीरीज के तीसरे टेस्ट में दर्शकों को रोमांचक मुकाबला देखने को मिला। इंग्लैंड ने आस्ट्रेलिया को 1 विकेट से हराकर सीरीज में 1-1 की बराबरी कर ली है। मैच के हीरो रहे बेन स्टोक्स जिन्होंने नाबाद 135 रनों की पारी खेलते हुए टीम को जीत दिलाई। उनकी पारी में 11 चौके और आठ छक्के रहे। चौथी पारी में जीत के लिए 359 रन का पीछा करने उतरी इंग्लैंड की टीम लड़खड़ाती दिखी। एक तरफ विकेट गिरते रहे, तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ स्टोक्स अकेले डटे रहे। 286 रन पर इंग्लैंड ने 9 विकेट गंवा दिए थे और जीत के लिए इंग्लैंड को 73 रन की दरकार थी। ऐसे में स्टोक्स ने अद्भुत पारी खेल टीम को ऐसी जीत दिलाई जो हमेशा याद रखी जाएगी। सोशल मीडिया पर फैन्स के साथ-साथ क्रिकेट दिग्गजों ने भी बेन स्टोक्स को अपने-अपने अंदाज में बधाई दी।
