► Hundreds of thousands of people are still using potentially lethal tumble dryers, despite a nationwide recall.

In July, manufacturer Whirlpool urged the owners of half a million dryers to come forward, after the machines were blamed for starting housefires.

So far only 65 thousand people have.

Whirlpool says it's crucial they get in touch urgently.
