A wild claim is emerging that paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s death was not suicide but murder, Daily Star Online has found. The conspiracy theory running wild on social media alleges that the disgraced financier, 66, was “bumped off like Princess Diana”. Hundreds of tweets seen by Daily Star Online point a finger at dark forces in the “establishment” over the deaths of Epstein and Diana. They allege that Epstein and Diana were actually killed as part of an assassination plot, because of their knowledge of powerful people. Diana had only just divorced from Prince Charles when she died, while Epstein’s friend Prince Andrew has been accused of playing a part in his alleged sex scandal. Andrew is accused of having sex with Epstein’s “sex slave” Virginia Guiffre when she was 17, an allegation he vehemently denies. But a sinister link between Epstein and Diana’s deaths is the most jaw-dropping of all. It emerged this week that CCTV footage outside Epstein’s jail cell wasn’t working on the night of his suicide and cannot be used by police. And mysteriously, on the night of Diana’s death, none of the 14 cameras inside the Alma Tunnel were working either. Just some of the countless tweets pushing the wild claim read: “Epstein found dead in his cell. There's a surprise. Biggest cover up since the death of Princes Diana.” “This is the #DarkForces Princess Diana told us about. They killed her. And now Epstein: just to protect Andrew.” “Epstein didn’t commit suicide....this dude was taken out just like Princess Diana #DeadMenTellNoTales” “Looks like the Diana story. The cameras mysteriously weren’t working that night...just like Epstein’s weren’t.” “So CCTV cameras just happen to go out the night Princess Diana dies and when Jeffrey Epstein kills himself. “Diana mentioned having a world shaking announcement. Epstein well you know…” Despite the wild claims, numerous reports, investigations and an inquest have ruled out the endless conspiracy theory that Diana was murdered. The inquest found that Diana’s driver, Henri Paul, had been drunk when he crashed into the Alma Tunnel. And so it ruled that it was Henri’s “grossly negligent behaviour” that “unlawfully killed” Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed.
