proposing in Chicago (we’re engaged!)

A week ago, Heather and I took the train from St. Louis (where we were visiting her parents) to Chicago for a mini-vacation in the city. She didn’t know at the time but the whole reason for me planning the trip was to propose to her in the city that was incredibly special to us 😁.

Thankfully, the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond, a serene and quiet location in Lincoln Park, was the perfect place to propose, and our timing was perfect to get time all to ourselves in that giant city.
