The intro to this video is found over at the link below, and is 100% worth watching 10 times: I really like doing interview videos with interesting people, and @mattfield777 is super interesting. I first got to spend some time with him for a couple weeks over in the Middle East having fun, and he is super down to earth, fun, interesting, and extremely authentic. He is the whole package when it comes to professional drifting. He is a great personality, great driver, and great car builder. He runs a professional program year after year, and keeps getting results. His style and flair, and forward vision in drifting is going to carry him extremely far in the years to come I think. I think it was genius to transition over to the Corvette platform when he did, as I think he has what it takes to be the GM version of the Ford drift program with Vaughn Gitten Jr. It is very smart to position yourself in line with the marketing departments of billion dollar publicly traded companies! I am really surprised no one did the Corvette to the level Matt has in past years. I known people have tried, but Matt is the first really successful person doing it over here I think.
