Dive into the deep, cool waters of Nusa Lembogan / Nusa Penida's Manta Point. Bali, Indonesia September 29, 2019. Max depth 30.3 meters (99.4 feet). Lowest temperature 19 degrees Celsius (66.2 degrees Fahrenheit) This was one of the several dives during my time in Bali that went to the completion of my Advanced Open Water Diver certification, under the supervision of my PADI dive instructor, Mantra of Aqua Marine Diving - Bali. Closed Captioning Subtitles Transcript: Final Dive Advanced Open Water Certification. Bali, Indonesia Nusa, Penida Manta Point. Deep Dive 30 meters September 29, 2019. All written statements seen in video are in English. Attempts to translate where possible. This is the PADI Deep Dive for Advanced Open Water Dive Certification. On the PADI waterproof card I write the colors as I perceive them at a water depth of 30 meters in noon daylight with no overcast. The wrist drive computer has information is recorded such as precise time and depth of this test. Most formal communication throughout this dive is accomplished using international diver hand signals. This test demonstrates the loss of certain wavelengths of light as you get further away from the surface light. It can be seen that light of the red length of the visible light spectrum is the first color to start to lose its color under light. A flashlight placed close will have the similar effects of light near the surface, though with a few other variables. You can see that the closer I aim my camera at a surface the better the detail and color is detectable. The further an object is away from me / the camera, the less vibrant the colors. The effect is happening with horizontal distance as with depth. Some lens fogging has been an issue in some parts of this shoot. I have chosen to preserve the video at 4k and maximum view particularly since the fogging is not constant and clears nicely at some points. I have a Sony branded defog pad inserted into the underwater housing of the FDR-x3000 camera which seems to have some added improvements but has not completely cleared things up. Perhaps I should add an additional pad to the underwater housing. I'm open to recommendations. I am unfortunately unable to change a battery down here. Fortunately, this is near the end of the dive. All of the best parts were captured fortunately. Thank you for watching. This has been a Jamesy Andre Publication. It is copyrighted 2019. Please visit for more information. Much appreciated!
