Sad Among Strangers - my first 'proper' band - was a 3 year chaotic roller coaster that gave me some of the best times of my life. I just didn't realise it at the time. I joined as bass player in 1978 and by the end I could actually play it. There are only a dozen or so people on the planet who will know what the hell this song is about....
