A video purporting to show a ghostly figure emerging from beneath a trampoline has surfaced online - with some viewers claiming it shows 'the ghost from The Ring'.. It appears that a girl in a white dress, compared by some to 'Samara' from the hit horror movie series, stands up and walks away during the five-second Snapchat clip, posted to Reddit. The person who uploaded the video captioned the clip: 'This video was filmed by a friend of my friend's brother a few years back.'In the left corner of the video, you can see a figure dressed in white, with black hair, crawling out from under the trampoline... To this day, we have no idea who the person was.' One commenter said: 'The only way I can rationalise this so as not to freak out is maybe a homeless person sheltering underneath? But f*** that looks creepy... It's the white dress that makes it look so odd.' Another said 'There a well under that trampoline?!' - referencing the American horror film where a girl with black hair in a white dress crawls out of a well to terrorise people after they watch a cursed video tape. Share this article Share But another user said: 'Is there an original video that is longer than this clip? Cuz, I bet if there is one it would debunk itself.' The video's uploader said: 'I doubt there is since this is an old Snapchat video.'One Reddit user said: 'Why does the video cut out where it does? The person on the trampoline wasn’t even finished jumping.'I admit, that seems a little suspicious to me, because the mysterious figure would have moved into the open just then, and would have been easier to see details on.'Another said: 'Pssht. Calm down. It's just Samara looking for her well after disfiguring faces of a few who still watch VHS tapes.' One said: 'Probably the ghost of the last person who tried that stunt and failed.'The video, posted to r/Ghosts, a subreddit for paranormal discussion, gained more than 200 comments, with users seemingly split over whether the clip was fake and if there is a rational explanation for the creepy figure.
