Mitigation Works: Safe Room in Webb City, Missouri

In 2011, a tornado killed over 160 people just outside of Webb City, Missouri. To prevent this from happening again, Webb City High School worked with FEMA to rebuild the gym so it can be used as a safe room in the event of an emergency. This is one of four new safe rooms in the school district.
