The Comparison and How-To Information Trap That Reinforces Imposter Syndrome (Rant) There is an imposter syndrome cycle that starts with ongoing comparisons and is reinforced by the glut of how-to information online.

All these "best practices" for everything under the sun looks like everyone is just being helpful. Unfortunately all that help is crippling our "figure it out" muscles while the glut of online courses tends to short-change confidence.

Faster and easier is pretty seductive. However when you pay to get to that "next level" without having to "make the same mistakes" someone else did, you end up not having learned the necessary skills or have the wisdom to take on next level challenges.

There are simple solutions and yes you will need to use your mind to figure out if they will work for you or not...but then you will also be better for it.
