Here is my video covering my trip to Vietnam!
Starting in the busy heart of Hanoi’s charming old quarter with its night market, street food and mini stools sitting bars, the next stop was Ha Long Bay to experience a night on a boat with a unique landscape.
From there a long journey with the sleeping bus up to Sapa for a quieter trekking experience with the locals and sleeping at a home stay. Homemade food and happy water on the menu. Then off to Ha Giang onboard the local daily bus, carrying passengers and loads of cargo! Now starts 4 days of motorbike riding over 450km of insane roads, which includes Happiness Road opened in 1965. The way continues through steep mountain peaks at Ma Pi Leng Pass where the small river formed its bed in the mountains.
After surviving this adventure, off to Ninh Binh, the inland Ha Long bay, for some rest and tranquility. Traditional boat tours and temples.
Finally Hoi An and Danang for some beach time and a moderately active city. A pagoda with an impressive lady Buddha, wild monkeys and a coconut boat trip.
