WATCH | ’There was timber flying’ - KZN residents recall the moment destructive tornado hit

Residents of Mpolweni in KwaZulu-Natal have been forced to try and pick up the pieces of a life that was. The community was hit by a tornado on Tuesday afternoon. It tore through the area near Wartburg leaving a trail of trees, pieces of fence and debris scattered across the landscape. News24 spoke to residents on the ground in the area, to find out what they saw and experienced.
