Meet the teachers innovating for quality in education: ZIIEI प्रदर्शनियों की श्रृंखला
About the Film: Community Participation is an innovative teaching method that aims to reduce absenteeism in government schools. It is being implemented in nearly 23,000 schools across seven Indian states. It focuses on creating a positive and cooperative environment for students by indulging them in various activities like tree plantation, removing myths and superstitions among the rural communities and celebrating the birth of girl child.
This technique in teaching makes the community vigilant and its participation and contribution in the school, village or nation increase. Community Participation is one of the 11 innovations introduced by government teachers under Zero Investment Innovations for Education Initiatives (www.ziiei.com) of Sri Aurobindo Society, as part of its nation-wide education transformation program Rupantar to improve quality of education in government schools.
