Candle day is the worst kept secret in Bath & Body Works history. Bath & Body Works always act like it's not happening and it's always the 1st Saturday in December.
This year is no different but there has been a price increase to $9.50.
This was enough to throw some people over the deep end but as you can clearly see people like to hear themselves complain because everybody was out buying candles!
There was a 20% off coupon that was good until 6 this morning and a lot of stores were giving a grace period.
The deal was not so good online because you had to pay for shipping and use a code for the promotion, in-store the price is the promotion plus you could use a $15 off of $40 promotion as well as the 20% off your purchase.
Going in store saved me about$40.
Online as of 2:00 this afternoon all 142 candles had sold out which typically happens every year.
People with the insider app (a-beta Bath & Body Works app still in the testing phase in very limited markets) were able to access the sale two and a half hours early.
It started at 9:30 Eastern standard time last night and Sugared blueberry donut was sold out by the time the sale went nationwide at 12 midnight.
I want to thank ALL the people in my candle family that helped make this possible and I name every one of them in this video.
Even if you don't contribute I love you guys and you are the best part of my day!
