Cost of the School Day at Ardler Primary School, Dundee. Schools taking action on Uniforms

Jane Allen at Ardler Primary School in Dundee has been helping families get the School Clothing Grant, which gives parents and children the choice to buy the uniform they need.


Parents on lower incomes often struggle to provide uniforms for their children, so receiving the School Clothing Grant really reduces the pressure on families. Raising awareness of this grant, and helping families access it, is a great way to promote equality in schools. Jane Allen explains why it’s worked so well at Ardler Primary School in Dundee.
