KMS 97 ~ Sprinkle Dry Pigment on Wet Resin!

KMS 97 ~ Sprinkle Dry Pigment on Wet Resin! I've been thinking about this experiment for a while now. A really fun thing about the pigments from ColourArt.com, whether it be Primary Elements (Acrylic pouring side) or the Rezin Arte pigments is the mixing process. There's a kind of exciting moment right when you add the pigment to the resin and begin to stir. When the colors just start to blend. It's something that you have to experience to understand. Okay. Now that we've confirmed that I am a total geek. I wanted to see what kind of results I would get by sprinkling the unprepared dry pigment directly onto the mixed resin. And then go from there, moving it around, putting heat on it, etc. Really, the best part was that I was immediately inspired the grab another canvas and go for an actual painting...and adding in my new lil dry sprinkle technique, to add a little visual texture. I love the outcome of this one. Thank you for subscribing and following along on my little journey. On this Christmas Eve I wish you happiness, health, and many blessings, to you and yours.
