This is the first in a series of #SaveCashOnPhones videos I'm doing to show ways to find savings on phone service from a common sense and realistic perspective. TextNow wireless has been around for a couple of years and uses the well-known and national Sprint and T-Mobile networks. The cost, however, is far less than what it costs to deal directly with either of those providers and also far less than Verizon or AT&T. The service is generally good enough for most mobile phone users who obviously live, work, and play in cities, not rural areas or in a wilderness area where having Verizon may be the only option. When I go hiking up a mountain, I want Verizon, but how many people go hiking up mountains?
