This aquarium filter system does not use an aerator but is replaced with a submersible pump to make it stronger and not noisy. Filter media are placed under the soil and the soil itself is the top undergravel filter media. Aquascape decoration consists of artificial stone cliffs, live moss, and some aquatic plants.
