Labour opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn refused to exchange a single word with a delighted and smiling Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who walked alongside the outgoing Labour leader to the House of Lords to hear the Queen's Speech.

Jeremy Corbyn refused to even look at Boris Johnson as the pair awkwardly led the way to the House of Lords to hear the Queen's Speech delivered.

The frosty exchange takes place a week after Mr Johnson overwhelmingly trounced Mr Corbyn in the polls, as the Conservatives won a majority of 80 seats.
