The often overlooked educational performance area of 'social|emotional development' (behavior too) The Question Asked:
"Hi again 馃槩 I asked a question a few months ago about my DMDD/depressive/anxiety/mood disorders daughter and school attendance and IEP.

We finally got the school to test her for an IEP. They pressured me into signing for only psychological testing. They kept denying the need for behavioral and other catagories. We got the results back and it states significant depression and anxiety. Her DMDD aspect is hard as it happens mostly at home and works with her anxiety/depression in school refusal. The school still says an IEP is not needed. Or they casually admit there’s nothing they can do for her to get her to go to school. She has a 504b for her kidney transplant.

Not only could I use your advice James, but if anyone else here could help me with what to actually say and add to her IEP. They keep asking me why do we want one as if to catch us not having a clue."
