Fun fact: There's really no private property in Sweden. If you wanna change the outside appearance of your house or apartment, you have to ask the government for permission. This might be obvious to those who have traveled through Sweden, as every house and apartment block looks the same. This reflects the Swedish culture mentality otherwise known as “Law of Jante”. The most horrible thing you can do in this country is to stand out, and that's reflected in their architecture as well #SovietBlockSwag
Nothing stands out, because that's the ugliest thing you can do in this country, whether in terms of thinking or appearance. Quote from government agency: “The colour of your house does not just concern you. Your housing is other people's view. Changing the colour of your house requires permission from the state.”
Insane right? The Swedish people can't even handle diversity when it comes to a freaking building, so how could they possibly get it right when it comes to culture and people? Spoilet alert: They can't. Which is why nobody in this country seems to interpret me correctly, other than my patrons. Everyone else bitches about me being too macho or too right-wing, whatever floats their socialist brainwash boat.
Therefore, think of this video as my utmost humble rebellion against Swedish culture. I'm gonna pimp my house with something as unswedish as a 36 dollar wall-mount for my 10 year old flatscreen, and show you a bit of behind the scenes when I'm not making videos.
