There are Thousands of Mustafas

#Shahnaz_Akmali, mother of a protester killed in #Iran in 2009, has been sentenced to a year in prison for her sympathy with other bereaved parents of protesters killed by security forces. Akmali says in her video that the memory of her Mustafa inspired her to be his voice. Akmali also said that she had urged other parents in Iran to also be the voices of their own children slain by security forces. And she added that since #MostafaKarimBeigi was gone but "always there," she tried to be a mother to others like him. #IranProtests
