They're Not Meant to Be (Concerning Adam and Blake). Song is Meant to be from Heathers the Musical. The show is RWBY from Rooster Teeth. All rights to the correct places. I just put them together to show how controlling and crazy Adam is by comparing him to 'JD' from Heathers.
The overall theme (if you couldn't tell) is that Blake realized Adam is nuts and having seen/been working with Yang, wants to be with Yang instead of Adam and he can't take that. Kind of like the actual story in the show RWBY. The music just fit so nicely about it.
Do I ship Yang and Blake? Yes. They are pretty much cannon in the show, and Adam is very much the abusive and controlling butt of the show. I hate him the most, especially as he reminds me of people I know who've hurt me in the past. Even if you don't ship Yang and Blake, I hope you can accept that Adam is abusive and it was a good thing for Blake to leave him.
Is this a shrine/glorifying of Adam? Heck no. But sometimes you have to talk about the issue to purge it from yourself. This is me letting go of the butthole and his toxicity. Hopefully this does the same for someone else too.
Now, this isn't praising Rooster Teeth or what they have been doing as of 2019/2020. They have to clean up their act and I pray they do so we could continue getting this show if nothing else. But I can't hold it against the show that is trying to tell their own story, even if in the background things are bad/unfair.
If I see too many comments that like/praise Adam, I WILL remove the ability to comment. What Adam did and what he thinks is NOT OK. What he and Blake had IS NOT ROMANTIC. Just like how Joker and Harley is NOT ROMANTIC. It's abusive, toxic, unhealthy, and isn't to be strived for.
