One woman is taking on the Great Glen walk in Scotland after her husbands diagnosis with Parkinsons. In 2018, an estimated one hundred, and forty five thousand people in the UK were diagnosed with Parkinsons disease, that's according to Parkinsons UK.

For one woman in York, these statistics hit close to home when her husband was told he had Parkinsons earlier this year.

Julie Atkinson, is now training to take part in the Great Glen, a famous, long distance walk in Scotland. Julie hopes to raise funds and help find a cure for the disease.
