We Are Passionate about the Idea of Being Passionate | Jade Rousseau | TEDxYouth@ISLuxembourg

We Are Passionate about the Idea of Being Passionate | Jade Rousseau | TEDxYouth@ISLuxembourg Society is passionate about the idea of having a unique and overpowering passion. At the core resides a fascination for the characteristics of passion: the immense joy, the intense suffering, how one throws himself, mind, body, and soul, into it. Yet, passion is when all your senses are wide open. It is the feeling of being alive. Passion is drive. If buying a football jersey makes you run faster on the field, if eating my bento makes me travel to Japan, then they are collectively as impactful. I don’t have a passion, but I am passionate. So, you can be passionate about anything, or simply be passionate about life. “Be passionate about what seem like insignificant things, but don’t be passionate about a mirage”. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
