The Helio G90 and G90T are new mobile chips focused on flagship games that include an eight-core CPU The Helio G90 and G90T include an eight-core CPU with clock speed of up to 2.05 GHz, which uses the same ARM Cortex-A76 and A55 cores as the latest Qualcomm and Huawei flagship processors. The MediaTek chip also includes a Mali G76 GPU with speeds up to 800MHz and support for up to 10GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The G90 and the G90T are the first SoCs system on a chip in the G-Series line focused on MediaTek games. They include HyperEngine technology, which consists of several features that are designed to increase the performance of smartphone games. The chips are compatible with HDR10, and also have an intelligent network prediction engine that, according to MediaTek, can detect when Wi-Fi quality degrades and automatically uses an LTE connection as backup. The chips also include a fast response engine to make touch screen controls feel more responsive.
