New Walker Model R ZTR - First Look! The Best Homeowner Zero-Turn?

New Walker Model R ZTR - First Look! The Best Homeowner Zero-Turn? If you spend any time at todaysmower.com you know I feel the Walker zero-turn mower is the best you can buy. It gives you the best possible cut, is the most agile and handles dips, bumps, and slopes better than other styles of mowers. But they were expensive to buy.
Well, that's changed. The new Model R ZTR is affordable to many more homeowners. It offers the Walker signature cut, dependability, and agility at a prosumer price. This mower has the lowest center of gravity and can handle slopes a lot better than other residential ZTRs and lawn tractors. With the drive wheels in the center of the mower, it trims exceptionally well and has great traction on slopes.
It comes in two sizes - 42 or 48 -inch. The decks are designed from the ground up to side-discharge, mulch, and bag. (with optional mulching or bagging kits)
No extra attachments are needed to give you the best lawn striping.
The front deck design lets you trim faster, go around trees only once and save even more time than the conventional mid-deck ZTRs.
The 21 HP Kohler 6600 series engine is smoother than the Kohler 7000 series found on other residential mower and comes standard with the high capacity air filter.
Yes, I've owned Walker mowers and no they are not paying me to say all these great things about the new Walker Model R.
