Grow your muscles using thought

Grow your muscles using thought This experiment is based on the idea that scientists have understood that for all of its amazing, marvellous, ability, our brain is just a little bit dumb. And the reason being is that it cannot distinguish between an action, and the thought of action. The very same neurons fire when you’re thinking about something as when you’re doing it.

Firstly, choose a portion of your body that you would like to exercise. For example, your bicep. Then take a measurement, you want to measure halfway between your shoulder and your elbow. Measure the thickest point of your bicep when you start.
Then, every day for 5 days a week spend 10 minutes imagining lifting weights and working out your biceps. And just keep imagining it. When you imagine it, imagine it with your five senses, particularly the ‘feel’. Feel how heavy it is when you lift it up, feel the resistance in your muscles, feel your muscles working. Don’t actually do it, just think it!

Do this for about three weeks, and then after three weeks measure your bicep size and see if it has grown.
